I was prescribed quetiapine 5mg. I had panic attacks for about 7 years. I got a good night sleep. I used to get up and go to work, but it was a nightmare to drive and I needed help. I tried everything, sleep and sleep disorder medications, and the only one that helped me was Seroquel. I was given quetiapine 5mg for a month, it helped me but not much. I was put on a mood stabilizer for 4 months, but nothing helped. I was put on a sleep aid and it helped for a few weeks, but I was getting the worst headaches ever, it was a nightmare. I felt horrible. I was scared to go back to work or go to the bathroom and I didn't want to go back to sleep. I couldn't sleep.
I have not had the side effects for this drug. I have no memory of taking the medication with food and alcohol. It is like it is a poison and the symptoms I get are not worth what I did to help me. I did try Seroquel and I was scared. I am still scared.
